For years a speed ladder has been used with basic drills known as “Rehearsed Patterns”. In The Ultimate Ladder DVD, you will be exposed to two different levels of warm-ups that are based on the Rehearsed Pattern Method.

Warm-Up #1

Based on performing drills to warm-up on the speed ladder the more experienced athlete, yet not frustrate the beginner. The athlete will be challenged to learn new foot patterns acquired the confidence to do so.

Warm-Up #2

This warm up steps it up a notch by using some of the first warm-up drills, but with a more difficult twist. The second warm-up drills with the speed ladder are challenging, yet still within the learning capabilities of anyone.

Here is a taste of what the exercises in the Ultimate Ladder DVD will do:


  • The speed ladder is separated and placed strategically to enhance first step speed and reaction of linear, lateral, and angular acceleration and foot speed drills.

  • The athlete learns to combine the speed of specific athletic movements with the foot speed control demanded of the speed ladder.

  • The athlete will learn to perform eye-popping quick foot drills combined with the explosive linear and vertical take-offs.

  • Never before used upper body speed techniques used right in the speed ladder. These drills will not only improve upper body quickness and reaction speed, but shoulder, core and hip stability as well. Watch as your athletes compete to see who can with the battles.

  • A totally new way of using the Ballistic Response Ladder…for strength training. Watch as you learn upper and lower body strength exercises that are performed right in the speed ladder.
